The week in review...

This has been one crazy week.
I know I have chatted with a lot of you about the situation with my blog.
As of now I have decided to continue being public but I am still not accepting comments.
Of course this could change at any time...

Avery Grace is my pack rat. She also LOVES collections. (antique dolls, buttons, sea shells, etc...) Well, her new collection as of this week is.....

Lucy Lu's baby teeth.
No kidding.
She has been scouring the floors every day for puppy teeth.
I think this last one makes her up to 5.
I got this awesome t-shirt in the mail that I ordered from here.
The $$ for the shirts go to help bring home Gwen's 2 babies, Abigail and Joseph from Africa.
Cool shirt for a cool cause!!!

Here is the back.
House Update.

We have our final walk through on Thursday. Woohoo!

Here are some of the things from this week.

Powder bath has been glazed. That is our tin ceiling that used to be silver. Pretty neat.

Here are our kitchen cabinets starting to be antiqued.

We have grass for the kids to run and play on! :)

Our doggie door has been installed in our laundry room. Amen to that!
Lucy is so very thankful.

I had to take Lucy back to the vet this week. Apparently she has mange and it is making her sick. Poor baby. So...we are starting her on a long round of medicine for about 6 weeks to get it under control. She has a type of mange that is NOT contagious. When an animal's immune system is low the mite kind of takes over making them itchy and get bald spots. Poor thing.

My precious slippers, may they rest in peace. Yes, that is blood on them from my tooth loosing dog.

We have had the most beautiful weather this week. A couple of the days were in the 80's. I think it might be time to pull out the spring clothes.

I love that Caroline picked out her cowboy boots to wear with this slip dress. I think she looks just precious!

Speaking of spring clothes, I went to my beloved twice annual consignment sale this week. I brought my camera to show the madness. What we women will do for a bargain! LOL
I bring a stroller to carry all of my clothes on.
As I stood in line, I took a picture of the line behind me.
It was almost as long in front of me.
Here is one of my best finds.
Gymboree 3 piece outfit for $7. Very cute!
I spent $86 for about 20 pieces. Too much fun!
Caroline was shocked and awed at all of my bargains! LOL
The nice weather gave Savannah a chance to ride her scooter.
She says, "Scooter Girrrllllllll!!" as she rides around.
That is what she was called over Christmas when she kept riding her cousin's scooter in circles throughout my parent's kitchen.
So silly!
Here is Caroline saying bye to Daddy as he was leaving on another business trip.
I got my "big" camera out this week and played a bit with it.
It is pretty easy to tell the quality of my Nikon D80 from that of my point and shoot Nikon Coolpix s700.
I do love how small the s700 is.
But you can't get shot's like these:

Her name's Savannah, Savannah banana.....

...the hottest babe north of Havana.
Ohhhhh, it's Savannah,
Vanna Banana.

Crying with passion is always the fashion for Savannah......you'll fall in love (in love)....
with Savannah, Vannah banana.

This is Savannah's theme song. You sing it to the tune of "Copa Cabana."

Gotta love it!!!

I took Lucy Lu to the vet the other day and they had this set up in the waiting room.
The older I get the more I appreciate a good sense of humor!
Cute, eh?? :)

She can hardly contain her excitement....

Last night was our ONE year post placement for Caroline.

She was so full of emotions and so were we!!!!
She is just blossoming into a beautiful girl.
Her baby looks are almost gone. sniffle.
We are going to explore some things with her (suggested by our social worker) that I will talk about once my blog goes private.
I have pretty much decided that this is the route I need to take our blog in.

The BEST place to smooch my puppy is:
Our house is almost done being painted. Sweet!
I thought this was just an extra sweet photo of my 2 blondies.
I am going to change the name of my blog and would love to hear ya'lls ideas!
