Avery Grace woke up on her birthday and had a hankering for pancakes!
Sooooo.....what the birthday girl wants, the birthday girl gets. ;o)

She also opened up a couple of gifts.
After opening up a Taylor Swift CD, I promptly took it away from her. I told her I was happy that she received the CD, but
Beyonce's CD is much better so we should exchange it for that instead.
LOL! I kill myself.

Avery had money burning a hole in her pocket, so off we went to spend it.
First stop....the mall.
The crocodile at "The Rainforest Cafe" always captures Avery's attention.
(pretend you don't see her bag of money in a Crown Royal bag... thanks dad.)

After shopping around a little I took Avery to her favorite restaurant for the club
panini.
Yum!

We then went to "Sweet and Sassy" to look at a necklace that Avery has been wanting for almost a year.
When the ladies who work there found out it was
AG's birthday, they decided to glam her up a bit.
They sprayed her hair with gold glitter.

Then they put pink glitter stars on her cheeks.
I thought that was really sweet and she loved it!
Once home we made Avery's birthday dinner.
She chose steak, wild rice, and corn.
After opening a few more family gifts, we sang happy birthday to her.
Here she is making her wish.
Avery told me she does not know why people have their birthday party on their real birthday.
Why?
Because when you don't, you get 2 special days! ;0)
