Avery Grace turned 10!!!
She got a pair of Bob’s shoes, some clothes and lots of good books!
The only girl I know who gives herself bunny ears in photos.
Jackson went to his homecoming stag.
Which apparently was the thing to do this dance...
The girls found a baby snake out back. Of course they begged to keep it. But, um...no, I don’t do snakes. <shiver>
They told me the snake had hurt his tail and so they put a band-aid on it. Hee hee.
Savannah and I took this picture with her new Kindle Fire. :)
A late night stop at Sweet Frog Yogurt? Daddy must be out of town working.
A blue mustache means deeeelicious!!!
Sometimes Brent’s “working” does not seem like work at all.
Just kidding. He comes home from 3 day business trips and continues to work at home.
Do you know why Lulu is smiling?
Because Nene and Grandad were coming to town!!!
Not to mention the vicious serial baby biter…
Oh the fun my mom and I had eating out, shopping, drinking yummy coffee and partaking in fattening desserts!!!
We decided to have an election party!
We all dressed in red and had such high hopes.
Of course early on our hopes were dashed. No sparkling cider or champagne was opened. Our country would continue down the depressing path we have been on.
Even Lu was sad. hee hee.
On a happy note, my dad hung the outdoor curtains I bought from Pottery Barn! We LOVE them!
Savannah had to be checked out from school last week after she vomited in the school bathroom. (She told me she felt bad before she left for school but I thought she was faking it….she IS my hypochondriac you know. Bad mom award coming my way.) I taught her how to play Clue and then we proceeded to play 4 or 5 games throughout the day.
My mums are looking fantastic!
Because Caroline and I get bored waiting for the big kids to get out of school…
With the cooler weather arriving, I am able to bring the Lu with me on my quick errands. She LOVES it. She waits so patiently for me to come out of the store.
The kids were soooo excited to drop off their Operation Christmas Child boxes at our church! The girls also dropped off bibles and letters for missionaries to take to orphans in Belize!
While going through the mounds of
At my sweet little Caroline’s school Thanksgiving feast. Her teacher secretly told me she was the sweetest girl in the class. Shhhh. :)
When I finally get all the kids off to school and come home, I like to get a good snuggle in with my Lulu.
I know what you are thinking….it’s a darn shame that no one loves that dog. ;)
If the kids and I get our way, we will be adding another little fur ball in 2013! Fingers crossed!

Hi!Your daughter who put the cream on her face reminds of a noxezema ad I saw in an old magazine so funny.Lulu is so cute .Bella is so big.She wants to sit on the couches and lay on the beds with the children. At night I go to check on the children while they are sleeping and I see Bella who is laying all spreaded out all over the bed and my child whose bed Bella is laying on is a sleep in a small area of the bed.She is loved like your Lulu.I take Bella for rides with the children when we go out to the countryside. She loves looking out the window. She even has her own seat in the van.Good luck with the new dog tell us more. Pat
The vicious serial baby biter has the longest tongue I've ever seen!
I just love my family!
Just wanted to give you a long overdue thank you. I emailed you a few years ago with questions about Russian adoption and you were so sweet to take the time to answer me. I want you to know God used you and your wonderful but honest blog to inspire us to adopt a wonderful child. I continue to stalk your blog gaining wisdom and laughter. I have a very poorly constructed and hardly ever updated blog you can visit if you would like to see the little one you had a part in bringing home.

Thank you again so much!
